There is no required study guide or material that you must purchase in order to prepare for the examination. We do, however, recommend that applicants review materials from the following sources:

1. The CMS Conditions of Participation for Acute Care Hospitals – Appendix A (Interpretive Guidelines) contains all of the information necessary to prepare for exam questions in this area. You can obtain a PDF download at www.cms.hhs.gov.
