About the Education Program
The HACP Examination Preparatory Course brings you the latest information on the CMS Conditions of Participation and deemed-status accreditation standards for acute care hospitals. Topics to be covered include:
- Overview of the survey process, policies, and requirements.

Faculty
Rick Curtis is Chair of the HACP Board of Examiners. Rick is nationally recognized as an expert on accreditation standards, and the CMS Conditions of Participation. Rick has been a regular speaker at numerous state and national conferences on accreditation and regulatory compliance.
He has held both clinical and executive management level positions in Quality, Risk, Education, Infection Control, and Regulatory Compliance. Rick received his Nursing Degree from the University of Hawaii and has a Master of Science Degree in Health Services Administration. Rick is a resident of Round Rock, TX. |
Terms & Conditions
- Space is limited and registrations will be accommodated on a first come / first serve basis. Deadline for registration is 5/18/12.
- The HACP preparatory course and examination fee is non-refundable. If you do not take the exam on 6/5/12 you will need to reapply.
- See the HACP Applicant Handbook for additional terms and conditions. Early registration is strongly advised.
- Registration confirmation, the HACP study guide, and the HACP Applicant Handbook will be sent via email prior to the course and exam dates.

Continuing Education Credit
This program has been approved for 6.0 continuing education hours by the Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality.
Participants should check with their respective professional body to determine eligibility to use CEU towards licensure requirements |
